In September last year, appeared in bookstores the first edition of Xiamen Guide & Map (in the original "厦门 一 本 玩 透"). For all who know how to use the Chinese language is an excellent guide to our beautiful city. It is characterized by a reasonable price, transparency, timeliness, and is superbly edited. Unfortunately - so far - there are not any other language versions.
book is divided into nine chapters: 行 前 准备 ( Preparing for travel ), 食 厦门 ( Dining in Xiamen ), 游 厦门 (Xiamen Walking ), 逛 厦门 (Xiamen Shopping ), 乐 厦门 (Xiamen Fun ), 宿 厦门 (Xiamen Overnight ), 品 厦门 (Xiamen Relax in ), 漫 鼓浪屿 ( Penetration Gulang Island) and 搜 金门 ( scoured the Kinmen ).
Each of these chapters contains a detailed description of places and colorful pictures. In addition, when individual items are also addresses, phone numbers, costs, tips and other valuable tips, such as how to get there, what the dish is a specialty of the restaurant, in which the pores are available, etc. When the object difficult places are also drawn to the mini -maps.
Guide is written very accurately and succinctly - the descriptions do not usually exceed a few sentences, what the average tourist's position makes it extremely affordable. The whole is bound to look pretty, cardboard cover, and printed on environmentally friendly paper secondary. Another advantage is the relatively low price. The only downside to the album probably is not English.
